Putting myself out there in public has never come very easily to me.
This manifests itself in a few different ways but in this particular instance I’ll focus on writing.
Processing of words is at the core of all we do, whether it is engaging with our family and friends or communicating at work. Getting the right words out is so important.
I really want to document the journey of launching my business. To do that I knew I needed a helping hand to up my blogging game. I wanted the messages to make sense, be inspiring and add some value to my audience so it was pretty serendipitous that I stumbled upon ‘Ship 30 for 30‘ in January.
The credit card came out, the payment was processed and the commitment made. Slightly adjusting the business launch date to make them coincide was an added bonus.
I’m in the February cohort. Starting next week I will be kickstarting my blog and writing 30 ‘Atomic Essays’ (sub 250 words) in 30 days.
The blog will cover how my 5 year side hustle has become my main hustle and the lessons that I’ve learned, and am learning, along the way. My main goal is to be transparent about the things I am doing and inspire others who are either running a business or thinking about doing so in the future.
Ideally it will become a two way thing with you firing over questions and thoughts. I don’t know everything but if I can help I will and If I can’t, someone else reading might be able to.
I hope you will join me on this journey and all feedback is welcome. Please be gentle while I ease my way in though.
Next post, the first of 30 will be with you on Monday!
